Arms Deal: Interrogate Jonathan First Before Prosecuting Me – Metuh Tells EFCC

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, last Thursday challenged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to first interrogate former President Goodluck Jonathan before prosecuting him over the source of the N400m alleged to be part of monies meant for arms purchase. Chief Onyechi Ikpeazu SAN, who led Metuh’s defence team for the charges he is facing at the Federal High Court in Abuja, argued that EFCC’s Prosecution Witness (PW5) evidence that presentation for which money was paid was made to Jonathan makes the investigation of his role as well as his evidence vital and indeed crucial without which no prima facie case can conceivably be said to have been made out. “Dr. Jonathan, to whom the presentation was made for which the payment was made, is therefore a material and indispensible person in order for a prima facie case to be present. Where the prosecution failed to c

How To Survive In This Era Of End-time Churches & End-time Pastors. CHURCH

Fellow Christians, Our world is filled with numerous churches and pastors who for selfish reasons, had deviated from the way that Christ commanded us follow. But should we all stop going to church or stop listening to today's pastors? I think the solution is this: We must believe that God doesn't live in any of these churches but lives in us when we purify our hearts. We must also believe that in this new covenant era, God doesn't have a temple in any church as it was in the old covenant era. Our body is the temple of God; so we must keep it holy. This shows that God is not found in all these end time churches but for the sake of helping one another spiritually and otherwise, we still have reasons to go to Church. Now, the bottom line is this: WORSHIP GOD EVERYDAY BUT GO TO CHURCH WHEN EVER U LIKE

SIX KIND OF PEOPLE YOU FIND IN CHURCH

I have been observing people in my church for a long time and I have made a list of the various kinds of people you find in a typical Nigerian church. 1. The first set of people are called the Bible Scholars. They are always very serious, writing everything the pastor says, and nodding their head every now and then. I was shocked to see a brother by my side today writing everything the pastor said including the "praise the lord", "amen" e.t.c they are always waving their hands and shouting yess at any little thing the pastor says. 2. The second set of people are called the talkers. All they do is to talk. Sometimes I wonder if there is pepper in their mouth as they just talk and laugh loudly. They wouldnt even hide it as they talk loudly and laugh carelessly. Sometimes it takes the intervention of the ushers to separate the two talkatives or group chatters. Once, a pastor on the altar shouted "Shut Up" on a girl from the congregation out of re

Mrs Amagala whose children had earlier pleaded the court to discontinue the case, said her husband also became angry when he read their divorce story in the newspaper. She said: “The children want the case discontinued as it is causing embarrassment to the family. They said they would find a way to bring peace into the family.” She had on the November 12, 2015 approached the court for a divorce with her estranged husband who she said took a new younger wife. The President, Mr. O. T. William however lampooned Mrs Amagala over her behaviour noting that the court was a public place and could not have stopped journalists from doing their job. The embattled woman sought divorce on the gro
